This covers the armies of the Franks in the Outremer, up to the disaster at Hattin and the Third Crusade.
An army must either be Outremer or Northern Syrian (Antioch/Edessa/Armenia).

Outremer divisions represent the Franks who had settled in the east (Outremer), and are drawn from the settled population. Crusader divisions are made up of largely pilgrims from the West. Divisions must be nominated as either Outremer or Crusaders.
Up to half the Outremer divisions can employ foot turcopoles.
Only Edessan or Antiochene army can use Armenians. An Edessan army cannot use any Crusaders. An Antiochene division can use up to 1 division of Crusaders.

An Armenian division must be used by an Edessan army. It is optional for an Antiochene army and prohibited from any others.

n3 Optional Military Order knights cannot be used, if a division of the same type has also been used.
Refugee Turks were used at the Battle of 3rd Ramla, and Richard Couer de Lion had some 200-300 Turks eventually join him

Relic of the True Cross or Carracio Standard (20 pts)
The Relic of the True Cross tended to be used only if the Kingdom was invaded. During the Third Crusade, an army standard was mounted on a wagon.''
