Initial thoughts:

Base Formations:

0-1 Royal Division (only available from 768 - 814AD)

1-3 Armoured Caballarii (Elite)

0-1 Unarmoured Caballarii (Elite)

This division represents the personal retinue of Charlemagne. If it is used, it must be commanded by the CinC

1-4 Frankish Divisions

1 Armoured or Unarmoured Caballarii

0-2 Unarmoured Caballarii

0-2 Unarmoured or Armoured Levy

0-1 Aquitanian Division (optionally graded as Ally)

1 Armoured Caballarii

0-2 Light Horse

0-1 Javelinmen

0-2 Unarmoured or Armoured Levy

If this division is allied, the unarmoured levy must be initiative 5, and the armoured levy cannot be used.
