I note that John Walsh, quoting Groslier, states that the bow was in general, the weapon of the Cham (in contrast to the Khmer).

The number of horse in chronicles is regularly about 1% of the total size of forces.

Elephants were divided into 3 grades, with the largest reserved for kings.
